The Sandlot Charity is committed to empowering underprivileged youth by providing access to sports programs and equipment. Inspired by the enduring values of camaraderie and passion from the iconic film
The Sandlot, we strive to eliminate financial barriers, ensuring every child can experience the transformative benefits of sports.
Since the film’s 30th anniversary in 2023, the cast has reunited for multiple charity events, including softball games and fundraisers that benefit organizations like the Table 2 Committee and Utah Parent Center, which support local youth sports programs and families with special needs children.
The Sandlot cast continues to create lasting impact through authentic community engagement and charitable giving.
Led by Marty York
Marty York, who played “Yeah-Yeah” McClennan in The Sandlot, actively participates in charity events alongside his fellow cast members. Despite facing personal challenges including a life-changing car accident and family loss, Marty has used his platform to support youth and give back to communities.
“The Sandlot taught us about friendship, community, and never giving up – values we carry into our charitable work today.” – The Sandlot Cast
